My name is Klaus Heinecke and I am a Copenhagen-based editor. I have worked on feature films, TV Drama and TV Comedy besides cutting 20 short films that have achieved nominations and won awards in the festival circuit. Companies I have worked for include 5 time Emmy Award nominee Danish Broadcasting Corporation on their drama series 'The Killing' and 'Summer' and Passion Pictures as the animation- editor on the feature 'Nutcracker - The Untold Story'. Short films include 'True Colours' (90+ Festivals, 7 Awards including Winner Special Jury Prize Premier Plans '07)) and the controversial whistleblower documentary 'Being Frank' (Winner Best Documentary on Human Rights, Skena Up Festival 2008). I was trained by acclaimed feature, commercial and documentary editors in Denmark and at The National Film and Television School in England, where I was awarded the Christie Prize for most outstanding student 2005.
